YAMBA... a beautiful beachside town located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW Australia. What it may lack in size and population it packs with incredible scenery, natural wonders and FUN THINGS TO DO!
There is so much to see in Yamba, from 2 giant lagoons with cliff jumps, rock pools, beautiful national park walks, surfing, beautiful beaches, and beachfront bars and cafes!
And here is our LIST of the THE 10 BEST THINGS to do in YAMBA.

There are two Lagoons located in Angourie on the edge of the Yurigur National Park and they are BOTH SPECTACULAR in their own ways.
Blue Lagoon, is the first you will discover after the short stroll from the carpark and you will instantly fall in LOVE. This is the perfect spot to take a picnic and spend a day with family and friends. There are lots of shaded grass areas and you have views of both the beach and the lagoon from many areas.
Don't make the same mistake we did the first time we visiting and venture a little further to discover the Green Lagoon, which is equally as STUNNING. You will also have the opportunity to cliff jump here, although the path is not as easy to find, nor does it seem to attract the number of jumpers as the Blue Lagoon, which could also be due to the size of the JUMP! WOWza's

4. Rock Pools
Located in the same area you will find Number 4 & 5 on our LIST Of MUST DO's in Yamba
The rock pools stretch along the beach just in front of the Blue Lagoon and provide a great sheltered place to swim and explore.
5. Yuragir Coastal Walk
Yuragir Coastal Walk is a beautiful walk though the National park and not far from the Angourie Lagoons. You can get all the way to the Headland which is absolutely STUNNING and SPECTACULAR.
6. LUNCH at The Pacific Hotel

8. Clarence River Lighthouse
Grab your camera or phone and head to the lighthouse for great views of the Yamba headland and a great snap for your Instagram feed!

We stayed at the Dolphin Caravan Park which was so well set up for families. If you have kids this is definitely the place you would like to stay.
